Thousands of Windows-only games should run on your Mac
Superposer has run 65 games itself and they work. For thousands more, recent player reports, Steam Deck status and results from testers say they should. Try any game you own: it may well work.
Search the list and pick a group. Windows-only means Steam has no Mac version of the game, so Superposer is the way to play it on a Mac.

How we rate games
Each game gets one verdict, Works, Works with issues or Doesn't work, from what the community reports. This page shows the good news first: games that are verified, that should work, or that work with issues. The rule is the same one the app uses:
- Who counts most: Superposer's own runs, then results testers shared from the app on a Mac (anonymous, one per install per game), then ProtonDB reports and Steam Deck status, which describe Linux and are only a starting point.
- Verified means Superposer ran it and it passed, or at least three testers confirmed it and they agree. Should work (Very likely or Likely) means recent reports are good but nobody has confirmed it on a Mac yet. Works with issues means players report bugs or needed tweaks for a large share of their successes; the main issues are listed.
- A confident estimate, not a headcount: each game is scored with a Bayesian estimate and a Wilson confidence bound, so a game needs several recent reports to move up, and it takes a run of bad reports, not one, to move down. One bad vote can never flip a game.
- Recent beats old: a report loses half its weight every few months, and bad news fades faster than good news, because newer runtimes fix games more often than they break them. Reports made on older runtimes count for less once a newer one ships.
- Hard blockers cap the result: kernel-level anti-cheat that refuses Wine and Proton keeps a game out of the top groups. Only a run of ours that passes outranks it.
- Windows-only means Steam lists no macOS version of the game: those are the games Superposer is for. Games with a Mac version are shown too (switch the filter off), and they keep running as Mac games.
Sources and licences:
- ProtonDB player reports, from the public data dumps, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. ProtonDB reports describe Proton on Linux, not Superposer. The scores we derive from them are published under the same ODbL licence, with the same attribution.
- Steam Deck Verified and Playable status, and which games have a Mac version, as Valve publishes them on Steam store pages: statements of fact, used with attribution to Valve. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation; Superposer is not affiliated with Valve.
- AreWeAntiCheatYet for anti-cheat status (MIT licence, Copyright 2021 Starz0r, Curve).
- Superposer's own tests, and results that testers chose to share from the app.
The list is rebuilt weekly and signed (the data, ODbL 1.0). An estimate is not a promise: results depend on the game's version, your Mac and the runtime.
Game titles are listed as text only, to say which games we have run. All game names and trademarks belong to their owners, and Superposer is not affiliated with or endorsed by them or their publishers.
