Your privacy
- Your games, saves, Steam library and settings stay on your Mac. Superposer reads your Steam library locally to set games up and doesn't upload it.
- No telemetry by default. The app doesn't report usage, crashes or hardware.
- Problem reports are never sent by Superposer. You see every item first (with your name, paths and IDs removed), and then you choose to email it, copy it or keep it.
- Sharing your results is off until you turn it on (Settings › Privacy), and then sends only the verdict and technical facts under a random ID, never your name, email or Steam ID.
- Looking up games. Your Mac asks Steam's store, ProtonDB and PCGamingWiki directly for public facts about your installed games (and shows store trailers); we don't run a server in between. You can turn trailers off in Settings › Appearance.
- Updates. The app downloads the update feed from superposer.app as a plain download, with no identifier added. Turn automatic checks off in Settings › Updates.
- This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers. The beta waitlist stores the name and email you type, and only a one-way hash of your network address, to keep bots out.
